About The Artist

J.Hill is a Texas artist, award winning musician and business owner. Through sculpture, painting and song writing Jimmy explores the depths of the human experience in a unique and avant-garde way.
His ability to create stylized works of art goes hand in hand with his skills to evoke thought and emotion. “Art for me is staying in every moment, letting go for dear life, and when you are inspired to create something you use the mediums that you have on hand.” Through his surrealist sculpting style Jimmy has an outlet for what most inspires him in life; nature, music, theology and love. His artistic style is highly influenced by the Middle Ages and Ed Roth.  
Jimmy Hill is a self-taught artist and musician who found himself in the company of many of the greats and tried to soak up as much technique as he could.Each sculpture he creates becomes a very limited edition. Operating a foundry Jimmy’s hands are on his pieces every step of the way. The patination of bronze art is one of Jimmy’s favorite parts in the process, so each of his patinas take weeks, sometimes months to perfect before it can be shown.
To this day he continues to sculpt, paint, and play music.
